Silvertrace is based at Cog Creative Space, a professional studio just outside the city in Norwood. The studio is professionally equipped and perfect for portraits, product photography, small groups, and headshots.
Principal photographer Sam Oster also runs Headshot Laboratory from the same studio. You can see more of Sam's headshot work at the Headshot Laboratory website. Sam is a member of the International Headshot Crew. She runs a co-working photographic studio at Cog Creative Space, in Norwood (Adelaide) and also runs a mobile darkroom in a converted vintage caravan, The Tintype Traveller. She specialises in the Tintype process, a hand-made analogue photographic process from the 1850's, as well as other alternative processes and film processing and printing using large format cameras. However the majority of her commercial work is shot using digital cameras.
Sam is an accredited member of the Australian Institute for Professional Photography (AIPP) and is an active member of the professional community. She teaches photography at a variety of institutions, and keeps up to date with industry trends and technology.
